Experts therefore https://facepoy.com/ recommend examining hazard ratios together with survival curves, absolute event rates, and observation periods. Online discussions on Reddit and X often show confusion when a hazard ratio is presented as though it were a direct probability measure. For example, a hazard ratio of 0.70 does not necessarily mean that exactly 30% fewer people will experience an event by the end of the study. The actual difference may depend on whether the baseline risk is 5%, 20%, or 60%, making time-dependent analysis essential for a meaningful interpretation.Experts therefore https://facepoy.com/ recommend examining hazard ratios together with survival curves, absolute event rates, and observation periods.
